Gary Ryan Blair is an author, speaker, coach and consultant - focusing on goals. Based on his own advice to become 'the expert' in a relatively narrow field, Gary chose setting and achieving goals. He is known as The Goals Guy, a term I assume he chose for himself. In my view, the answer is a definite yes. I've been very impressed with the quality of Gary Ryan Blair's work when researching this web site. He says a lot in a short space of time, it's good practical advice, he has some unique ways of explaining things, and his spoken delivery is very inspiring. I also like his 'sound bites'. For example, he likens focus to 'Moby Dick in a gold fish bowl'. In other words, focus needs to stand out in your mind. Gary Ryan Blair's philosophy is summed up in the words Everything Counts - the title of one of his audio programs which I've reviewed. Everything we do takes us nearer to our most important goals, or further away from them. I've also reviewed two other Gary Ryan Blair programs The Power Of Focus and Your Personal Strategic Plan. I've never met Gary but he has attracted some excellent testimonials from major companies, and is clearly well known as a speaker. He has also sponsored two goals related events in the USA: Youth Goals Education Week and New Year's Resolution Week. The Goals Guy may be a name that he invented for himself. In my opinion, he does a good job of living up to it through the quality of his books and audios. He also runs several goals related web sites.
